Monochrome Direct Imprint

The Monochrome imprint is a permanent waterproof imprint that looks great! It is our most economical print and yet it has that professional look to set your project apart from others. While the mono imprint needs to be kept fairly simple, with the right design it can really add to your disc. Just follow these simple hints to get the most from the mono imprint.

1. Do not do a reverse print. This is where you make the CD black and the text silver. The mono imprint is not designed to print that type of coverage and look good. If you want a full reverse effect you would need to upgrade to the Photo Quality Black and White print or the full color Photo Quality print.

2. As in the examples above the mono print looks great with text and simple "line-art" type graphics. Gray scale photos and large coverage areas will print but they are not a photo quality and can stretch the printer past what it is designed to do.

3. The file you send us should be black on white. Even if you want the red or blue color the file should be black on white. The mono printer is loaded with the color ink you desire. We cannot match it to a color. If you send us a red file the printer will perceive that as a gray color and print the color lighter which means it will be more pixelated.

Photo Quality Full Color Adhesive Label

When you want full color this is the least expensive option available. These are printed on the same digital press that prints all of the inserts and tray cards. Adhesive labels sometimes get a bad reputation because you can print them at home using your own printer but that is where the bad reputation comes from.

An ink-jet printer saturates the paper with ink and that can make the label paper look somewhat worn. With our dry process digital press the labels come out looking great and at a cost that is very affordable. If you choose this option use the full color adhesive label template. The label has the larger 1.6 inch knockout that you must design for.

Photo Quality Black and White Direct Imprint

Our Photo Quality Black and White Direct Imprint is a permanent water proof disc imprint that looks great and gives your disc that step above professional look. This imprint is applied directly to  a white flood disc and allows for full reverse tyep prints, where the disc is black and all text and graphics show through in white. It also does a superb job on black and white photos.

This imprint uses the same printing system as our top of the line Photo Quality Full Color imprint. When you want a good looking black and white print that does your graphics proud this should be your option.

When you want the very best imprint on your disc choose this option. This print is stunning and delivers the best print you can have on a disc. Printed at 600 DPI in full color this disc will make your project stand out from the others. While it is our most expensive imprint option... if you want the best look you can get, this is it.

Our full color direct imprint is 100% waterproof and has a glossy look. Don't mistake this for some ink-jet print, there is no comparison. Ink-jet prints will never stand the test of time. Many of our competitors offer ink-jet prints on their full color discs, not only do they not look as good but try handling the disc with sweaty hands and see the ink smudge. When you want a full color imprint that will look good over time this is the one you want. Use the Everest Full Color template if you choose this option.
