Mono Imprint in 3 colors Black, Blue and Red

The Monochrome imprint is a permanent waterproof imprint that looks great! It is our most economical print and yet it has that professional look to set your project apart from others. While the mono imprint needs to be kept fairly simple, with the right design it can really add to your disc. Just follow these simple hints to get the most from the mono imprint.

1. Do not do a reverse print. This is where you make the CD black and the text silver. The mono imprint is not designed to print that type of coverage and look good. If you want a full reverse effect you would need to upgrade to the Photo Quality Black and White print or the full color Photo Quality print.

2. As in the examples above the mono print looks great with text and simple "line-art" type graphics. Gray scale photos and large coverage areas will print but they are not a photo quality and can stretch the printer past what it is designed to do.

3. The file you send us should be black on white. Even if you want the red or blue color the file should be black on white. The mono printer is loaded with the color ink you desire. We cannot match it to a color. If you send us a red file the printer will perceive that as a gray color and print the color lighter which means it will be more pixelated.
